The Art of Relaxing

Being able to relax is a skill and, like any skill, it takes patience and practice. The more you practice, the easier and faster it will be to perform the steps to relaxation. Of course, the ability to completely relax will not happen overnight, but you should have a general sense of relaxation each time you finish an exercise. The more you practice, the longer this feeling of relaxation will stay with you.

Each relaxation session should last at least 10 minutes, though 15 or 20 minutes is optimum. Practicing every day should be your goal, but in the beginning start working it into your schedule three times a week.
